eCTP Test Description and Testing Time

The Comprehensive Testing Program was developed for ERB by ETS to serve the needs of schools that aspire to higher standards. The eCTP is a rigorous test battery designed to collect information about student achievement, and the first four editions have been used by public and independent schools for decades.

Tests, testing times and grades for the entire battery (including linking sections for grades 2, 3, 4, 10 and 11) are shown below.

Schools participating in the spring 2008 study conducted by ETS reported that the length of testing time was not a problem for their students due to the flexibility of the testing schedule.
