Dear Colleague,
One of the new changes you'll see with the launch of the GRE® revised General Test is the introduction of a new score scale for the Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning measures. This new score scale has been designed to provide more simplicity in distinguishing performance differences between candidates.
We recognize that changing to a new score scale requires the graduate community to make significant changes. But we're committed to making the transition to the new score scale as seamless as possible. That's why we're focusing the Top Story and this entire issue exclusively on explaining the new score scale — how it has changed, how it can help you with your admissions decisions and what we're doing to help you compare scores from both tests. Please download the full story now to learn more, and be sure to pass this important issue along to your faculty, staff, administrators and other colleagues.
Sincerely,
The GRE revised General Test Team
