ETS is proud to announce that we have recently launched three new test preparation tools to help your candidates prepare for The Praxis Series™ tests.
Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) Online Self-Study Tutorial
ETS and Pearson Teacher Education Development have collaborated to create a tutorial that provides both test preparation and test remediation. The tutorial covers all four Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) tests (codes 0521, 0522, 0523 and 0524).
The easy-to-navigate tutorial offers candidates:
- Overview of the PLT test
- Study advice for preparing for the PLT test
- Practice test and post-test questions to help gauge student strengths and weaknesses
- Feedback on practice test questions and links incorrect answers to textbook content allowing more in-depth study on the topic

Elementary Education: Content Knowledge Interactive Practice Test
This innovative, first-of-its-kind practice test allows candidates to simulate a testing experience with a fully interactive, retired practice test for the Elementary Education: Content Knowledge Test (code 0014).
Features of the interactive practice include:
- Countdown timer allowing candidates to simulate a testing experience
- Rationales for correct answers
- Interactive scorecard grouped by topics allowing candidates to quickly see on what topic area they should focus their preparation
The new interactive test is available in the ETS Store for $17.95 and is available as a 90-day subscription from the first launch of the test.

Reducing Anxiety: Your Computer-Delivered Praxis Testing Experience Video
Understanding that test preparation goes beyond content knowledge, ETS has developed a short, seven-minute video that walks candidates through the Praxis computer-delivered testing experience at a Prometric Testing Center. The video will help reduce anxiety around computer-delivered tests by viewing the video, where they will learn what to expect when they arrive, what they should bring and what is and is not allowed in the testing room.
