Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer
As Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for ETS, Scott Weaver is responsible for strategy articulation and alignment for the organization. This includes ensuring that the ETS strategy is kept evergreen in the context of changing market dynamics, that execution plans align to strategic intent, and that the strategy and associated execution plans are communicated and understood throughout the organization. Additionally, Weaver is responsible for ETS's mergers and acquisitions activity, the Enterprise Resiliency program as well as the commercialization of its automated scoring and artificial intelligence capabilities. Prior to his current position, Weaver was ETS's Senior Vice President for Production & Delivery. His responsibilities included ETS operations and technology. This incorporated activity in information technology, the supply chain and the call center.
He previously served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer at ETS. In this role, he oversaw all information technology assets and activity, and ensured that ETS's strategy and tactics were appropriately informed and influenced by information technology.
Weaver also was Vice President of ETS's Product Development & Research Applications division, where he led and managed corporate initiatives aimed at turning ideas into marketable products and services.
Weaver joined ETS in 2002 as Executive Director for e-Business in the company's former Information Services & Technology division. He brought 13 years of experience in creating business value for organizations through the use of information technology.
Before coming to ETS, Weaver was Senior Director of e-Business at DuPont™ Pharmaceuticals Company, where he was responsible for all e-business activity within the United States and within DuPont's International Commercial Operations organization.
Weaver also held marketing and information technology positions at the former Andersen Consulting, which is now Accenture.
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Weaver earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering. He currently is attending the Wharton Fellows Program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
ETS has assisted the NAEP program in introducing numerous psychometric and assessment design innovations over the years.
