Jill Casner-Lotto is Director of the Community College Consortium for Immigrant Education (CCCIE), a national organization based at Westchester Community College that increases awareness of the important role community colleges play in delivering educational opportunities for immigrant students. She also is a writer and research analyst with more than 25 years of experience in workforce-development issues.
Casner-Lotto served as a research consultant for The Conference Board, a national, not-for-profit business research and membership organization. Her work focused on the job readiness of new entrants to the workforce and the baby boomer workforce in the nonprofit sector. Previously, Casner-Lotto was Senior Vice President for Policy Studies at Work in America Institute, a nonprofit workplace research and membership organization, which operated from 1975 to 2003. She directed numerous research projects and authored or co-authored policy studies on such topics as work-life effectiveness, job-linked literacy, training for new technology, flexible work schedules, high-performance workplaces and labor-management relations.
Casner-Lotto earned a bachelor's degree in social sciences and a master's degree in journalism.
