Bobby Naemi is an associate research scientist in ETS's Center for New Constructs in the R&D Division. He previously worked as a research associate at the American Institutes for Research in Washington D.C.
His main research interests are in personality and psychometrics, with past projects exploring response styles in survey use, applying item-response theory and latent class modeling to personality measurement, and refining situational judgment test measures. His current work at ETS involves applying existing noncognitive measures to predict workforce and educational performance, as well as developing new fake-resistant noncognitive measures.
Naemi has published in both personality and industrial/organizational psychology journals, including the Journal of Personality and the Journal of Business and Psychology.
He earned a Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from Rice University in 2008.
