Praxis™ registration now open for 2012–2013 — with more opportunities than ever before

You'll find a number of new program enhancements for the 2012–2013 testing year on the Praxis™ website, including:

Expanded Offerings
At the start of the 2012–13 testing year, the Praxis program will offer 46 test titles on computer, with an additional 18 test titles moving to computer throughout the remainder of the year. This means that 90 percent of teacher candidates will be able to take computer-delivered tests by the end of the 2012–2013 testing year.

Expanded Network
Your candidates who choose computer-delivered tests will have an expanded network of campus-based test centers available to them in addition to Prometric® Test Centers. A total of 490 computerized test centers are in the network and additional sites are being established. Candidates can register online, search for a center by zip code or state, and view real-time seat availability for the date and time of their choice.

Longer Score Report Availability
Starting in the 2012–13 testing year, candidates will be able to access their score reports online for one year. The score reports can be printed or downloaded from their online Praxis accounts.

New and Updated Tests
The Praxis program will offer a total of 17 new, refreshed or customized assessments in the 2012–2013 testing year. States may have established new passing scores for these tests so please have your teacher candidates review their state's test requirements for the latest information.
