New World Language test for Chinese (Mandarin) now available

The Praxis™ program has launched an additional World Language test, Chinese (Mandarin): World Language (5665)(PDF). This new computer-delivered test follows the general structure of the Praxis Spanish, French and German World Language tests and includes multiple-choice and constructed-response questions measuring candidates' abilities in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.

Like the other World Language tests, the Praxis Chinese test is designed to align with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Program Standards for the Preparation of Foreign Language Teachers. Upcoming World Language test administration dates include:

• December 10–15, 2012
• February 11–16, 2013
• March 25–30, 2013
• May 20–25, 2013
