Weiling Deng is a senior psychometrician in the Research & Development division at ETS. She joined ETS in December 2006 and is currently coordinating the testing program for the CLEP® test. Prior to working with CLEP, she worked on various K–12 assessment programs including the Washington Comprehensive Assessment Program, California State University English Proficiency Test/Entry Level Math, California State University Early Assessment Program, the California High School Exit Examination, and California Standards Test. She enjoys both operational work and research. Her research interests include equating, scaling, person fit, and cognitive diagnosis. She enjoys nature and loves working with the kids in her church.
She has a Ph.D. in educational statistics and measurement from Rutgers University.
