David M. Klieger was a senior research scientist in the Research & Development division at ETS until May 2022. He received a Ph.D. in industrial-organizational psychology with a minor in quantitative psychology/psychometrics from the University of Minnesota in 2010. Prior to obtaining his doctorate, he practiced business and employment law for several years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1996, he was awarded a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, where he served as the articles editor for the Comparative Labor Law Journal.
In addition to publishing research in the ETS Research Report series, Klieger has published chapters in The Encyclopedia of Educational Psychology, The Oxford Handbook of Personnel Assessment and Selection and articles in journals such as Harvard Business Review, The Journal of Applied Psychology, College & University, The American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, and The Brunswik Society Newsletter.
Klieger represented ETS Research & Development division in initiatives that innovate the achievement of student diversity and quality goals as well as student learning and development of socioemotional skills. He has served on the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Scientific Affairs Committee and ETS’s Institutional Review Board (Committee for Prior Review of Research).
