Test Takers With Disabilities and Health-related Needs
Accommodations are available for test takers who meet the EXADEP™ test program requirements according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Applicants with temporary or permanent disabilities — such as a visual, hearing, physical or learning disability — or health-related needs — must make requests for accommodations in writing before the test registration closing date.
Applicants must submit:
- a completed official scannable registration form (not available in electronic format) with appropriate test fee payment; you can request the registration form be mailed to you by sending an email to PRO@ets.org
- a completed form for Special Non-Standard Accommodations
- a recent (within the last year) letter from a physician or other qualified professional stating the nature and degree of the disability
Note: The disability documentation you submit will be reviewed by ETS staff. Within two weeks following ETS’s receipt of appropriate documentation, you will receive a letter of determination. Once a disability determination has been made, it is valid for two years and can be referenced when registering for subsequent testing sessions that will be administered within two years of the date of the determination letter.
Testing will take place Monday through Friday at ETS's Puerto Rico Office in Hato Rey or at available test centers by special request.
There will be no additional charge to test takers in need of accommodations. Check ETS's policy on Disabilities and Health-related Needs.
