Ordering Additional Score Reports (ASRs)

Additional score reports (ASRs) can be ordered for a fee of US$25 per score recipient. Currently, scores earned on or after July 1, 2007, are available. There are four ways to order ASRs: online, phone, fax or mail. When ordering ASRs online, you have the most options for choosing which scores to send — you can select to send scores from your Most Recent, All, or Any specific test administration of the General Test and/or Subject Tests. See below for information on the score reporting options available for each ordering method. See the approximate score report mailing dates to see when your scores will be available.

Effective December 2012, you can also send official score reports to employers.

Online

  • For faster processing, order additional score reports online. You will need to create or have a My GRE Account to use this service.
  • When ordering ASRs online, you can select to send scores from your Most Recent, All or Any specific test administration of the General Test and/or Subject Tests. (These options are also available when you call GRE® Services to place an ASR order.)
  • Credit/debit card only (American Express®, Discover®, JCB®, MasterCard® or VISA®) will be accepted.
  • Once a request is submitted, it cannot be canceled, changed or refunded.
  • Score reports will be sent to your designated institutions approximately five business days after your request.

Mail or Fax

  • Download and complete the Additional Score Report Request Form.
  • When ordering ASRs by fax or mail, you can select to send scores from your Most Recent test administration or All test administrations of the General Test and/or Subject Tests. Note: The ScoreSelectSM Any option is not available when ordering additional score reports by mail or fax.
  • Mail it with the fee to the address on the form.
  • Faxed requests are accepted if you pay by credit/debit card (American Express, Discover, JCB, MasterCard or VISA). The fax number is 1-610-290-8975.
  • Once a request and fee is mailed or faxed, it cannot be canceled, changed or refunded.
  • Score reports will be sent to your designated institutions approximately ten business days after your request is received.

Phone

  • You can order ASRs by phone if you call from a touch-tone phone, pay by credit/debit card (American Express, Discover, JCB, MasterCard or VISA) and have tested in the last five years.
  • With the ASR by phone service, you will send scores from all the times you have taken the General Test and/or Subject Tests in the last five years. Note: The ScoreSelect Most Recent and Any options are not available when using the ASR by phone service.
  • To order, call 1-609-771-7290 or 1-888-473-7267 (toll free for test takers in the United States, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada). Before you call, have the following information ready:
  • Call 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Time, seven days a week
  • Wait for confirmation before hanging up to be sure your request is completed. Once information is entered, changes cannot be made.
  • Score reports will be sent to your designated institutions approximately five business days after your call. You must wait until your scores are initially reported before you can use this service.
  • This phone service allows you to request up to eight score recipients. To request more than eight, please call again.
  • Requests for "Test Taker Copies Only" or changes in your mailing address cannot be processed through this service.
