Sydney (November 6, 2013) —

Time is running out for students to enter the 2013 "Win Your Future Unlimited" Australian Trade Commission competition and grab a life-changing opportunity to study in Australia.

Almost 18,000 individuals have already entered the competition to win a year of university study, including tuition, lodging, airfare and a $15,000 stipend.

Gold competition sponsor Educational Testing Service (ETS) is thrilled that prospective students have taken to Future Unlimited with such enthusiasm — with more than 480,000 people, from 149 countries and territories, visiting the competition website and seeking to build their future with the help of an Australian tertiary education.

"We are truly excited about supporting a competition that provides students with a chance at a high-quality education in Australia," said David Hunt, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ETS’s Global division. "We know that an Australian education can help students achieve their goals, and we want to be sure they know that their TOEFL® scores can help them get to Australia for their university studies."

ETS has been encouraging more international students to take part by promoting the contest to more than 1.3 million potential participants through social media networks.

With four of the seven finalists already announced, prospective students need to get their entries in by November 18. The finalists that have already been chosen from the thousands of entries come from the United States, the Philippines, Vietnam and Russia, and will be flown to Australia for a study tour once the other finalists have been selected in the coming two weeks.

Following the finalists' two-week study tour in December, the major prize winner will be announced December 17.
