ETS and KOSAF Announce TOEFL® Scholarship Program Recognizing Academic Excellence by Students in Korea

Seoul, Korea (July 15, 2014) —
Educational Testing Service (ETS), the creator of the TOEFL® test, and the Korea Student Aid Foundation (KOSAF) announced the launch of the 2014 Love Giving Scholarship (ETS TOEFL) program in Korea. The scholarship program honors outstanding university students in need of financial support.
ETS and KOSAF will award 24 deserving students with a total of 72,000,000 KRW in funding for undergraduate or graduate study in Korea for the 2014 fall semester.

"We're pleased to partner with KOSAF and look forward to recognizing the 24 recipients of the 2014 Love Giving Scholarship (ETS TOEFL) later this year."
Twenty-four 3,000,000 KRW TOEFL scholarships will be awarded. To be eligible for the 2014 Love Giving Scholarship (ETS TOEFL), individuals must:
- currently be a domestic undergraduate or graduate student of Korean nationality
- complete the online scholarship application and upload academic transcripts
- provide household income and GPA
- prove English-language studies by submitting one of the following:
- authorized English test scores
- a transcript with English-related subjects
- authorized English competition certificate (after entering college)
More information regarding the 2014 Love Giving Scholarship (ETS TOEFL) is available in Korean at http://www.kosaf.go.kr/. Scholarship applications will be available starting July 21 and must be received by August 1. Winners will be notified on August 29, 2014.
ETS and the TOEFL program have supported students in Korea for several years through scholarship programs similar to this. Since 2008, ETS has awarded over half a million dollars in scholarship funding to students in Korea as they pursue higher education.
