TOEFL® Program Offers Free Webinars in April to Support Turkish Students

Istanbul, Turkey (April 3, 2014) —
ETS, the creator of the TOEFL® test, the most widely accepted English-language assessment used for admissions purposes in Turkey and worldwide, is hosting free webinars to assist TOEFL test takers.
The TOEFL Program will host TOEFL® Talks, one-hour informational sessions that provide an overview of the TOEFL iBT® test, and include helpful information such as test preparation tools and an overview of the registration process. Following the presentation, students will have an opportunity to participate in an interactive question-and-answer session. The webinars will be conducted in Turkish and are free-of-charge.
The sessions will be held:
- Wednesday, April 9, 4:30–5:30 p.m. Turkish time
- Monday, April 21, 4:30–5:30 p.m. Turkish time
Test takers can register, and receive more information regarding the upcoming webinars, by contacting Tülay Imre at email@example.com. Space is limited so test takers are encouraged to register in advance.
The TOEFL Program will also be participating in the Edufairs Yurtdışı Eğitim Fuarları Fair taking place April 26–27 at the Marmara Taksim Hotel in Istanbul. Students can visit the TOEFL booth and attend the TOEFL presentation taking place Saturday, April 26 at 1:30 p.m. in the Ground Floor Ballroom to learn more about the latest information and free resources available to Turkish students.

"We encourage test takers to take advantage of the various events and study resources that we have put in place to make the testing process easier. ETS continues to develop new study materials and will monitor capacity, adding additional testing centers to accommodate the demand for the TOEFL test in Turkey."
The TOEFL test is accepted in more than 130 countries, including Turkey. Currently, there are 66 testing centers throughout Turkey. Additional testing centers will be added later in the year to meet the growing demand for the TOEFL test in Turkey.
