Princeton, N.J. (June 29, 2011) —

Based on expressed interest from TOEFL® test takers in Australia, Educational Testing Service (ETS) has announced a new toll-free customer support center, available at 1-800-919-622, to serve students preparing for the test in that country.

The Australian TOEFL Customer Support Center offers guidance and timely information for students regarding the TOEFL test. Assistance is available for students in identifying test preparation materials, locating test centers, obtaining score reports, ordering additional score reports and other pre- or post-administration inquiries.

The new center is accessible by phone toll-free directly from Australia, Monday–Friday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. In addition, student inquiries can be sent via e-mail to TOEFLSupport4Australia@ets.org.

"The new TOEFL Customer Call Center is a prime example of the user-friendly tools and free resources that ETS is designing to assist test takers," said Helen Cook, Associate Director of Client Relations (Australia) at ETS. "The call center was created in response to student requests for personal and timely advice on test issues. We take student feedback extremely seriously and continue to work closely with test takers in Australia to seek innovative and helpful ways to make the testing process more convenient."

Students who need to register for the TOEFL test by phone or cancel a registration should still contact the Regional Registration Center at 60-3-7628-3333.
