ETS Announces 2013 TOEIC® and TOEIC Bridge™ Scholarship Programs in China
Now also offering scholarships to graduate and secondary vocational college students

For the fourth consecutive year, Educational Testing Service (ETS) is offering TOEIC® and TOEIC Bridge™ Scholarship Programs in China. The scholarship programs recognize TOEIC and TOEIC Bridge test takers in China who excel academically and demonstrate well-rounded qualities such as participation in extracurricular activities, including community service. This year the program has been expanded to reach a broader audience of students preparing to enter the workforce.
ETS will award 40 TOEIC scholarships, each in the amount of 8,000 RMB, to eligible university students demonstrating high academic achievement, a desire to contribute to their community or school, and an outstanding ability to communicate in English. Thirty of these scholarships will be available for bachelor's degree students and 10 scholarships will be available for master's degree students. Completed applications must be postmarked by July 31, 2013. In addition, ETS will award 40 TOEIC Bridge scholarships, each in the amount of 4,000 RMB, to eligible vocational college students demonstrating outstanding academic achievements, contributions to their community or school, and their ability to communicate in English as evidenced by a valid TOEIC Bridge score. Thirty of these scholarships will be available to higher vocational college students and 10 will be available to secondary vocational college students. Completed applications must be postmarked by July 31, 2013. Scholarship winners will be publicly announced in September 2013.
The ETS Scholarship and Recognition Program (SRP) group, which annually awards millions of dollars in the United States and abroad, is coordinating the ETS Scholarship Program with ETS China. In addition to program consultation, SRP developed application materials and guidelines for the review of the applications.
