Research and Data Request Approval

The Praxis Program will review each individual request and you'll be notified within three weeks of the outcome of the review. If additional clarification is needed, or if costs are applied, the Praxis Program will contact you.

If the data request is approved, the program will send the requestor a statement to sign. This statement attests to the requestor's proper use of the data and to the requestor's safeguarding the data from unauthorized individuals.

The approved request is processed only when the signed statement is received.

Requests for State-specific Data

The Praxis Program doesn't release state-specific data, except as necessary to comply with HEA Title II reporting requirements. Any requests for state-specific data must be directed to the appropriate state department of education. In addition, the Praxis Program does not release information that may identify individual test takers.
