An outcomes-based assessment, the iCritical Thinking Certification measures a complete range of cognitive and applied ICT literacy skills. This one-hour exam:

• replaces ETS's iSkills™ assessment, providing many of the same benefits, plus new robust features that enhance test security, usability and value
• features real-time, scenario-based tasks that measure an individual's ability to navigate, critically evaluate and understand the wealth of information available through digital technology
• delivers individual and group data for use in student evaluation and placement, student ICT literacy assessment, curriculum development and deployment decisions and for accreditation and accountability initiatives
• is endorsed by the Global Digital Literacy Council (GDLC) and aligned with the nationally recognized Association of Colleges & Research Libraries (ACRL) standards
• serves as a certification exam
