Praxis™ Test Registration Changes
Computer-based Tests
To reschedule or cancel a Praxis I® computer-based test, call Prometric™ candidate services at 1-800-853-6773 or 1-443-751-4859, or call the test center directly.
- Changes must be made at least 3 full days before your test date (not including the day of your test or the day of your request) or your test fee will be forfeited. For example: The deadline to reschedule a Friday appointment is Monday.
- If your appointment spans more than one day, you must call at least 3 full days before the first test day of your appointment.
- There is a $15 fee for rescheduling a computer-based test.
If you cancel a test, you may be eligible for a partial refund.
Paper-based Tests
Reschedule or Cancel a Registration
To reschedule or change a Praxis I or a Praxis II® paper-based test, complete and mail the Change Request Form (PDF) to ETS. There is a $45 fee.
- Test and test center change requests must be received at ETS by the emergency registration deadline. If you are unable to request your change prior to this deadline, you may go to your preferred test center on test day to request the change. We will try to accommodate you if possible.
- Test date changes must be received no later than 3 full days prior to your original test date. New test dates must be scheduled for the same testing year and you must reschedule all tests scheduled on the original date. Refunds will not be issued for any tests not rescheduled and not taken on the original test date. Note: If you registered for an accommodation because your primary language is not English, you must reschedule your test in order to make changes.
To cancel a test and request a refund, mail the Refund Request Form (PDF) to ETS. Requests must be received no later than 3 full days prior to your original test date. See refund policies for more information.
Admission Ticket Corrections
If there is an error on your admission ticket, you must submit your ticket corrections prior to or on test day.
- If you register by mail or re-register by phone, you should receive your admission ticket at least one week before your scheduled test date. To make corrections, complete the correction form attached to the ticket. (If you do not receive your ticket, call Praxis Customer Service.)
- If you register online, you must print your admission ticket. You can make changes to your personal information online. To correct any other information, complete the E-Ticket Correction Form (.doc).
Submit your corrections to ETS by mail or by e-mail. You may also submit your corrections to the test center supervisor on test day.
