Test Centers
Paper-based Tests
- Each state has at least one center that offers nonstandard test administrations for PLNE examinees.
- Additional paper-and-pencil centers may be established if needed.
- Test centers will not be established outside the United States.
Computer-based Tests
The tests will be offered at established CBT test centers. See the PLNE Test Center List.
How to Register
If you are requesting special accommodations, you cannot register online.
You will need to:
- Complete the Certification of Documentation Form (PDF). An embossed school seal must be affixed over the signature on the certification of documentation form or the signature must be notarized. ETS has the right to request further verification, if needed, of the professional’s credentials and expertise relevant to the certification of documentation form. If this request is needed, testing may be delayed until the next applicable test date.
- Complete the Eligibility Form for Examinees Whose Primary Language is Not English (PDF).
- Complete the registration form (PDF) and submit it with the appropriate fees. If you plan to take a Praxis I® computer-based test (CBT) complete the CBT Authorization Voucher Request Form (PDF) instead of the registration form.
Additional Notes:
- All materials must be submitted together and received at ETS by the registration closing dates.
- Late or incomplete requests, as well as requests received on outdated forms, will be returned to you unprocessed.
- All documentation must be approved before the test administration date. The program makes every effort to evaluate all requests in a timely manner.
- Because of ETS’s need to review documentation to provide accommodations, all test takers must register through ETS.
- If you previously registered and ETS approved your request for accommodations, you may request the same testing accommodation for subsequent test dates.
For more information, contact ETS.
