GRE® Powerprep® Software Installation Instructions

After the download is complete, follow the steps below to install POWERPREP® Software: Test Preparation for the GRE General Test.
Instructions:
- Click Open at the bottom of the "Download Complete" dialogue box. The same dialogue box described in Step #5 of the GRE POWERPREP Download Instructions.

Go to your Desktop and run the downloaded file by double clicking it.
The file for GRE POWERPREP 3.1 will be called: PPGRE31.EXE
- The following screen will open. At the top of the window will be the words "Welcome to the GRE POWERPREP Setup program." Click Next.

- The setup process will now move you through a series of windows. It is strongly recommended that you use the default installation settings. To do so, click the Next or Yes box at the bottom of each window as you complete the installation.
- The software will now install.
- The last dialogue box in the install process may say, "Before you use GRE POWERPREP, you should restart Windows or your computer." Choose "Yes, I want to restart my computer now." The installation process will not be complete unless you restart your computer.
Running the Installed Powerprep® Software
After the installation is complete, follow the steps below to run the program:
- To start the GRE Powerprep® program, click:
- Start
- Programs
- POWERPREP
- GRE POWERPREP
- If your installation for GRE Powerprep® was successful, you should see the following screen:
