GRE® Test Preparation Workshops for Campus Educators
The Graduate Record Examinations® (GRE®) Program will conduct one "GRE Test Preparation Workshop for Campus Educators" during the 2009-10 academic year. The next workshop will be held in spring 2010. A date for the spring 2010 workshop has not yet been set.
GRE Test Preparation Workshops offer an opportunity for institutional representatives to learn about the GRE General Test and how to prepare students to test to the level of their abilities. Individuals who attend a workshop will be able to serve as campus resources, conducting workshops and training sessions for university-based test preparation activities, including summer enrichment programs, McNair programs, and others.
Eligibility
In selecting individuals to attend, the program gives priority to individuals who can function as institution-wide resources in organizing and presenting subsidized or low cost campus-based GRE test preparation workshops. The program also seeks to include representatives from a variety of institution types. If we cannot accommodate you in a workshop, we will inform you at the earliest possible date.
Partnership with Graduate Community
The GRE Test Preparation Workshops for Campus Educators extend our partnership with the graduate community in important ways. The service makes the GRE tests more valid indicators of ability by removing some of the differences that may exist in the access to test preparation materials. It also assists universities in enriching the pipeline of students from underrepresented groups coming into graduate education.
Workshop Information
Attendance Limit: 50 Participants with only one or two representatives from each institution.
Travel, Lodging, Meals, and Other Expenses: Participants are responsible for all costs related to attendance at the workshop, including transportation to and from the workshop, lodging, meals, and any incidentals incurred by the participant while at the workshop. However, ETS will provide lunch during the workshop for all participants.

- Preparing for the GRE Verbal Measure
- Preparing for the GRE Quantitative Measure
- Preparing for the GRE Analytical Writing Measure
- GRE Test Preparation Resources
- Components of a Test Prep Workshop
