Advanced Placement Program® (AP®)

CLEP® — College-Level Examination Program®

CLEP is the College Board's credit-by-examination program enabling students to demonstrate college-level achievement in 34 different subject areas and receive up to two years of college credit.

ETS Literacy

ETS offers a number of ETS Literacy tests built on frameworks developed during the course of studies conducted by ETS researchers in adult literacy.

ETS® Proficiency Profile

The ETS Proficiency Profile assesses 4 core skill areas — critical thinking, reading, writing and mathematics — in a single test to gauge general education outcomes for improvements in the quality of instruction and learning.

EXADEP™ — Examen de Admisión a Estudios de Posgrado™

EXADEP is a paper-and-pencil test that measures verbal, quantitative and analytical reasoning skills, which are important for success in graduate school. Four sections of the test are in Spanish and one section is in English.

GRE® — Graduate Record Examinations®

The GRE tests measure skills that assist graduate schools, business schools and departments with admissions activities, guidance and placement, program evaluation and selection of fellowship recipients.

High Schools That Work Assessment

The High Schools That Work Assessment measures the reading, mathematics and science achievement of vocational education (career-bound) students at participating secondary schools and technical centers.

The iCritical Thinking™ Certification measures your students' ability to navigate, critically evaluate and make sense of the wealth of information available through digital technology — so you can make the necessary changes to narrow skill gaps.

MFT — Major Field Tests

The MFT tests are innovative undergraduate and MBA outcomes assessments designed to measure the basic knowledge and understanding achieved by students in a major field of study.

MGA — Middle Grades Assessment

The MGA is designed for 8th grade students. It is composed of a student survey, a transcript study, and achievement tests in mathematics, science, and reading.

NAEP — National Assessment of Educational Progress

NAEP provides an independent measure of what students in Grades 4, 8 and 12 across the United States know and can do in reading, mathematics, science and writing and other core subject areas.

ParaPro Assessment

The ParaPro Assessment measures the reading, writing and math competency of prospective and practicing paraprofessionals, as well as their ability to apply these competencies during classroom instruction.

PSAT/NMSQT® — Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test

ETS administers the PSAT/NMSQT test on behalf of the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation. It enables students to practice for the SAT Reasoning Test™ and serves as the qualifying test for national merit scholarship competitions.

SAT® On-Campus Program

The College Board allows colleges to conveniently administer the SAT Reasoning Test and/or the SAT Subject Tests to incoming and continuing students to assess their readiness for entry-level college courses through the SAT On-Campus Program.

SAT® Reasoning and Subject Tests

The College Board's SAT Program consists of the SAT Reasoning Tests™ and SAT Subject Tests™. The SAT Reasoning Tests are designed to measure critical reading, math and writing skills. The SAT Subject Tests are designed to measure knowledge and skills in particular subject areas.

SLEP® — Secondary Level English Proficiency Test™

The SLEP test is designed to measure the English-language listening and reading comprehension skills of students whose native language is not English.

SLLA — School Leaders Licensure Assessment

Part of the School Leadership Series, the SLLA measures the standards-relevant knowledge of entry-level principals and other school leaders.

SLS — School Leadership Series

Based on a set of standards for school leaders identified by the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC), the School Leadership Series provides validated assessments that states use in the licensure process for principals, superintendents and school leaders.

SSA — School Superintendent Assessment

Part of the School Leadership Series, the SSA measures a superintendent candidate's understanding of the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) Standards and how the standards relate to a superintendent's job responsibilities.

Test Link: Test Collection at ETS

The Test Link: Test Collection at ETS is the largest compilation of standardized tests and other measurement devices in the world. It includes external tests, surveys and related materials from a variety of test publishers and authors. This information is available to researchers, graduate students, teachers and others interested in assessment design and application.

TFI™ — Test de français international™

The TFI evaluates the French-language listening and reading proficiency levels of people whose native language is not French. Test results show how well people can communicate in French in business and academic environments.

The Praxis Series™

The Praxis Series assessments are used for teacher licensure and certification by states departments of education and other certification agencies. The Praxis I® tests measure basic academic skills, and the Praxis II® tests measure general and subject-specific knowledge and teaching skills. The Praxis III® Teacher Performance Assessments assess the skills of beginning teachers in classroom settings.

TOEFL® — Test of English as a Foreign Language™

The TOEFL test measures the ability of nonnative speakers of English to communicate in English in the college or university classroom. Test scores are used in the admissions process at more than 7,000 academic institutions throughout the world.

TOEFL® ITP — Institutional Testing Program

The TOEFL ITP measures English-language proficiency at the intermediate-to-advanced levels and is used for academic placement, progress evaluation, exit testing and other situations that do not require a secured testing environment.

TOEIC Bridge™

The TOEIC Bridge is designed for English-language learners at the beginner and intermediate levels. Test results provide proficiency levels and help test takers track their progress in and set goals for improving their English-language skills.

TOEIC® — Test of English for International Communication™

The TOEIC tests directly measure the ability of nonnative speakers of English to listen, read, speak and write in English in the global workplace. The TOEIC test is used by over 9,000 organizations around the globe in more than 90 countries to assess English proficiency in the workplace.

TSE® — Test of Spoken English™

The TSE assessment measures the ability of nonnative speakers of English to speak English in an academic or professional environment.
