Introducing Praxis™ Performance Assessments for Teachers from ETS

A meaningful measure of a teacher candidate’s readiness for the classroom

ETS is pleased to introduce Praxis™ Performance Assessment for Teachers (PPAT) — part of The Praxis Series™ assessments. The PPAT provides a solution, developed by educators for educators, for measuring a teacher candidate's readiness to teach effectively. The national testing program will launch in the fall of 2014.

Greater, more meaningful data helps inform decisions. The PPAT assessment will help educator programs like yours make the most effective use of their time by providing an assessment that helps align teacher candidates, cooperating teachers, mentor teachers and faculty advisors to drive student achievement and learning.
