Introducing Praxis® Performance Assessment for Teachers from ETS

A meaningful measure of a teacher candidate's readiness for the classroom

ETS is pleased to introduce Praxis® Performance Assessment for Teachers (PPAT) — part of The Praxis Series® assessments. The PPAT provides a solution, developed by educators for educators, for measuring a teacher candidate's readiness to teach effectively.

We've listened to the needs and concerns of state department representatives and educators in teacher preparation programs. The PPAT includes the elements that they have told us are critical when measuring a teacher's performance and growth as an educator during student teaching.
