Idaho Highly Qualified Status Test Requirements

Idaho State Department of Education

Important Information: The Idaho State Department of Education (SDE) does not accommodate electronic score reports at this time. Download and print score reports for certification/endorsement, and mail or fax them to the Idaho SDE with your completed application packet.

Teachers must meet Highly Qualified status, as defined by the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act, to teach in any core academic area in an Idaho public school. View the core academic areas for Highly Qualified Guidelines for Idaho.

If you test in Idaho, your score report will be sent automatically to the Idaho State Department of Education. If you test outside of Idaho, select the Idaho State Department of Education (state code 8636) as a score recipient when you register or on an additional score report request.
