Receiving Candidates' Scores

ETS provides a Designated Institution Score Report to each institution or agency selected by the candidate at registration. The report includes the candidate’s name, score, pass/no pass score information and other information.

Official scores for Praxis™ computer-delivered tests are mailed to designated score recipients about two to three weeks after the test date. Scores for Praxis paper-delivered tests are mailed within four weeks after the test date. Electronic scores are sent within four weeks after the test date as well.

Please note that your candidates' official score reports will be available online via their Praxis accounts on the score report release date, approximately four weeks after the test date. Their scores will be downloadable and available for one year from the score reporting date.

Some states are automatic score recipients and scores are automatically reported to their Departments of Education. These states are:

Scores by Scorelink®

The Scorelink® service is a paperless method that provides score reports electronically, allowing institutions to receive scores quickly and to import them into their computerized certification system.

Score data is encrypted using PGP® encryption software and transmitted to a secure server that can be accessed only by someone designated by your institution.

Scorelink System Requirements:

• PGP® encryption software version 2.6.2 or higher, with an RSA key that is 1024 or 2048 bytes in size
• An Internet browser (e.g., Internet Explorer)
• Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Mac OS
• Windows 95 users must use version 7.03 or lower.
• An email address (for an individual or group mailbox)
