Computer-delivered Tests
Reschedule or Cancel a Test Registration
(Fee to reschedule: $30)
To cancel or reschedule your computer-delivered test appointment, log into your Praxis™ account or call ETS at 1-800-772-9476 no later than three full days prior to your appointment (not including the day of your test or the day of your request) or your test fee will be forfeited. Example: The deadline to reschedule a Friday appointment is Monday. If the appointment spans more than one day, you must call three full days prior to the first day of testing. If you cancel your test by the appropriate deadline, you may be eligible for a refund of 50 percent of your test fees.
Add or Change a Test or Change Test Center
(Fee: $30)
Computer-delivered tests are scheduled by appointment. If you have additional tests to take, you may register for them the way you registered for your initial test. Appointments are subject to availability.
To change a test for your which you are currently registered to another test, or to change your test center, you must contact ETS at 1-800-772-9476 no later than three full days prior to your appointment (not including the day of your test or the day of your request) or your fees will be forfeited. ETS cannot guarantee that the test you would like to take or the test center you are now requesting will be available at the same appointment time for which you are currently registered.
Paper-delivered Tests

To cancel or reschedule your paper-delivered test registration, log into your Praxis account, call ETS at 1-800-772-9476 or complete and mail the Change Request Form no later than three full days prior to your test (not including the day of your test or the day of your request) or your test fee will be forfeited. Example: The deadline to reschedule a Friday test appointment is Monday. (If you choose to reschedule by mail, the form must be RECEIVED at ETS by this date.) If the appointment spans more than one day, you must call three full days prior to the first day of testing. If you cancel your test by the appropriate deadline, you may be eligible for a refund of 50 percent of your test fees. If you are planning to reschedule your test, it must be moved to another date in the same testing year, and all tests for which you are registered on that date must be moved.
Add or Change a Test or Change Test Center (paper-delivered tests only)
(Fee: $30)
To add a test or change your test center for a current paper-delivered test registration, you may do so online or by completing and mailing the Change Request Form to ETS no later than the emergency registration deadline for your test date.
To change a test you are currently registered for to another test, you must complete and mail the Change Request Form or call ETS at 1-800-772-9476 no later than the emergency registration deadline for your test date. ETS cannot guarantee that the test(s) you are seeking to add or the center you are hoping to change to will be available at the date and time you are requesting. To give yourself the best chance of securing your requested test, location, or test date, please contact ETS as early as possible.
Admission Ticket Corrections
If there is an error on your admission ticket, you must submit your ticket corrections prior to or on test day.
- If you registered online and find an error in your personal information (such as name misspellings or incorrect contact information) on your admission ticket, you may log into your Praxis account and update this information in your profile, then print an updated admission ticket. To correct any other information, complete the E-Ticket Correction Form and submit to ETS.
- If you registered by mail or re-register by phone, you should receive your admission ticket by mail at least one week before your scheduled test date. To make corrections, complete the correction form attached to the ticket. (If you do not receive your ticket, call Praxis Customer Service.)
- To correct any other information, complete the E-Ticket Correction Form.
Submit your corrections to ETS by mail or by email. You may also submit your corrections to the test center supervisor on test day.
