How to Apply for the Harold Gulliksen Psychometric Research Fellowship
Submit all application materials via email with PDF attachments.
The application process has two stages:
- Preliminary application:
- Letter of interest describing the research that would be undertaken during the award year and how the research fits with ETS research efforts; for studies under way at ETS, see the ETS Research Agenda
- Statement describing any additional financial assistance such as assistantship or grant commitment that you would have during the fellowship period
- Nomination letter (either as an email or as an email with a PDF attachment) from an academic advisor in support of your interest in the fellowship award
- Current curriculum vitae
- Final application:
- Detailed project description (approximately 15 double-spaced pages) of the research the individual will carry out at the host university, including the purpose, goals and methods of the research
- Official graduate academic transcripts
- Evidence of scholarship (presentations, manuscripts, etc.)
Important Dates
- December 1, 2012 — Deadline for receipt of preliminary application materials
- December 17, 2012 — Applicants are notified of preliminary application decision
- February 1, 2013 — Deadline for receipt of final application materials
- April 1, 2013 — Award recipients are notified
