The CBAL™ Pilot Testing

The CBAL™ summative assessments have been piloted in grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 as well as in college and university developmental courses, in more than two dozen schools in 17 states. As of early 2011, more than 10,000 reading, writing and mathematics tests have been administered. The CBAL formative assessment pilots have been ongoing for over three years in the Portland (Maine) Public Schools and recently have begun in the North Brunswick (N.J.) Township Public Schools.
