The CBAL™ Pilot Testing

The CBAL™ summative assessments have been piloted in grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 as well as in college and university developmental courses, in more than 125 schools in 40 states. As of 2013, more than 20,000 reading, writing and mathematics tests have been administered. Over the last six years, the CBAL formative assessments have been administered in the Portland (Maine) Public Schools, North Brunswick (N.J.) Township Public Schools, and in schools in Wisconsin, West Virginia and Kentucky. If your school or district is interested in becoming a CBAL pilot site, please contact us at RDWeb@ets.org.
