2011–12 GRE® Optional Score Reporting Record Layout
As part of the introduction to the GRE® revised General Test, we made minor modifications to the GRE Optional Score Reporting Record Layout. The 2011–12 layout went into effect on July 1, 2011; however, the new fields in the layout have not been populated because score reporting for the GRE revised General Test had not started.
On November 2, 2011, score reporting for the GRE revised General Test begins, and you will start receiving scores with data in the new fields.
The changes to the layout involve the addition of two "Estimated Current Score" fields (i.e., 453–455 and 467–469). These fields have been added in areas of the layout that were previously "filler" fields.
The changes to the record layout enable ETS to provide estimated Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning scores on the GRE revised General Test for individuals who took the GRE General Test prior to August 1, 2011.
