ETS to Host Symposium for Institutions of Higher Education
ETS will host the third annual Teacher Licensure: The Higher Education Perspective symposium from October 12 to October 14, 2010 in Princeton, N.J.
Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) play a pivotal role in preparing the teachers of tomorrow. Given the increasingly demanding environment and growing accountability, ETS staff will hear from representatives of 15 IHEs on the following subjects:
- trends in teacher preparation
- assessing candidate performance
- measuring pre-service teacher characteristics
- assessing teacher effectiveness
