ETS Title II Reporting Website Launch

Changes brought about by the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act in November of 2008 mandated changes in the data collection for Title II reporting. ETS responded by offering an integrated solution for users at the state and institutional levels.

The implementation of the new service is already underway with State Department of Education (DOE) Title II Coordinators. Three webinars were recently conducted for the DOE staff, including a live demonstration of the key functions of the tool.

Representatives of Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) will be brought into the second phase of the roll out, scheduled for September of 2010. IHE Title II contacts will be invited to attend training webinars similar to the sessions held for DOE staff, where there will be an overview of the new site and instruction on the key functions of uploading candidate information, candidate matching process and reporting. Upon completion of a training session, the IHEs will be given access to create a new account and begin their update process.

An estimated schedule for the release of the new website and reporting is below.

August–September 2010 The new ETS Title II website opens for State DOE training. DOEs gain access to the website to verify tests and licenses
Late September 2010–Early December 2010 The new ETS Title II website opens for IHE training. IHEs gain access to the website to submit student data and verify matches
Late December 2010–Late March 2011 ETS prepares reports
Late March 2011–Late April 2011 ETS resolves questions that IHEs and states may have concerning passing rate reports
Late April 2011 ETS delivers final reports

We hope you will find our new site easy to use and helpful as you make your way through the reporting cycle.
