English Australia/ETS TOEFL® Award for Innovation in ELICOS
The English Australia/ETS TOEFL® Award for Innovation in English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) is now accepting nominations. The award aims to showcase organisations within the ELICOS industry that support their staff in demonstrating original and creative problem-solving initiatives, in response to the challenges faced within the ELICOS sector.
The award is designed to celebrate new ideas and innovative approaches to any aspect of ELICOS delivery. It recognises that there are two key elements underpinning innovation: individuals or teams that develop initiatives to address identified challenges in ELICOS, and organisations that have a culture of support for these initiatives.
A cheque for $1,500 and a certificate goes to the winning individual/team. The winning organisation receives $1,500 to cover the costs of sending one or more representatives to the English Australia Conference in September 2012, to accept the award and an engraved wall plaque at the EA Gala Dinner.
The award is open to any organisation registered on Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) to deliver ELICOS. The product or service developed by the institution and proposed for nomination, should have been implemented the previous calendar year and the nomination must be supported by the principal administrator of that organisation.
Visit the English Australia site www.englishaustralia.com.au to submit a nomination.
