Teaching professionals provided with free TOEFL® training.
ETS experts Phal Vaughter, Shawn Steinhart and Marian Crandall conducted a four-hour Propell® Workshop for TOEFL iBT® test at the TESOL conference held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. The workshop was free of charge and included learning materials.
The Propell Workshop is led in an interactive, hands-on approach to developing a TOEFL iBT curriculum with scoring explanations, learning strategies, activity books, a complete practice test, CD-ROM and more. Additionally, the workshop offers instructional techniques and strategies using an integrated-skills approach to teaching English-language learners.
"The workshop participants appreciated the opportunity to learn about the TOEFL iBT test in detail, and they were extremely interested in practical applications," Phal Vaughter said. "Not only did they learn tips on teaching the TOEFL test, but they also learned how the test questions are scored."
