New Initiatives to Help American Education

America is rightfully concerned about the state of education, with an increasingly competitive world economy and an upcoming generation unprepared to meet the burgeoning demands of the 21st-century workplace. ETS stands ready to serve the nation by providing innovative approaches based on more than 60 years of direct experience.

Help for Students and Employers

The Scholarship & Internship Program affords companies an opportunity to meet and train some of the country's best students early in the preparation stages of their careers. In turn, students obtain practical work experience to help them make decisions about their future as they seek to secure the financial assistance they need to complete their studies.

¡Sí! The New American Scholarship & Internship Program

¡Sí! is offered through a collaboration between the ASPIRA Association, Inc., and Educational Testing Service (ETS). The program assists corporations in increasing the employment and retention of Hispanic students through a comprehensive, combined scholarship and structured internship/mentoring program. Students who participate in the customized program will receive a three-semester or three-summer internship and guidance from a dedicated and trained mentor. Through their years participating in the ¡Sí! Program, students will develop a working knowledge of your corporation, professional skills and loyalty to your corporation — all assets that will make these students the perfect job candidates once they graduate. This program will ultimately give your corporation the opportunity to assess the capabilities of each student and potential employee over time, enabling your managers to make sound recruitment decisions.
