Bank Scholarship Program Benefits Extend Beyond Graduation Day
The Situation: A large bank had constructed a number of corporate buildings in a northeastern city. In order to make a stronger community connection, bank officials decided to offer a scholarship for residents of the community.
The Objective: Strengthen community ties and improve the bank's image in its home community.
The Solution: ETS's Scholarship & Recognition Programs (SRP) staff designed a scholarship program that would provide scholarships to residents of the community and helped the bank boost its image in the community.
The Success: The program positioned the bank as a partner with residents of the community and not just another business. The contact with the scholarship recipients also enabled the bank to recruit several as employees when they had finished their education.
