Change in Payment Methods for Test Takers in Iran

Due to the challenges of administering the TOEFL® test using prepaid vouchers in Iran, ETS has discontinued the use of vouchers for test takers in Iran until further notice and will now accept only approved credit card registrations, similar to other countries worldwide. This change is effective December 19, 2012.

Registrations will be honored for all those scheduled to test utilizing vouchers through January 31, 2013. After this date, new registrations from test takers in Iran will be done through an approved credit card or by taking the TOEFL test in neighboring countries.

ETS is attempting to open additional seats in January to accommodate those candidates with vouchers who wish to test. TOEFL test takers with prepaid vouchers who cannot test by the January 31, 2013 deadline should contact the location where the voucher was purchased for a refund.
