The best way to improve one's reading ability is to read. But finding the right books for practice can be difficult. Without help, students can choose a book that is too hard or too easy. This may keep them from practicing well.

Lexile® measures put the ability of readers and the difficulty of texts on the same scale. Each TOEFL® Junior™ score report includes a Lexile measure that can be used to find books at the student’s reading level — and help them improve their reading ability.
