ETS Offers the Propell™ Teacher Workshops for the TOEIC® Tests Free of Charge to English Language Teachers in China

ETS celebrates the launch of the Propell™ Teacher Workshop for the TOEIC Bridge™ test

For the first time in China, Educational Testing Service (ETS) is hosting the Propell™ Teacher Workshops for the TOEIC® tests — a professional development program for teachers of English. The ETS Propell Teacher Workshops are designed to provide a service to teachers who are interested in learning and sharing the latest tools and strategies to advance the quality of English-language education.

ETS is offering the Propell Teacher Workshops for the TOEIC tests free of charge this week as a resource to help educators meet the challenges of teaching workplace English to students entering the business world. In addition to this being the first time ETS has offered the Propell Teacher Workshops for the TOEIC tests in China, this week will mark the official global launch of the Propell Teacher Workshop for the TOEIC Bridge test.

"These workshops are being offered by our experts who are dedicated to working with China's teachers to explore different approaches to language teaching and learning that help produce effective results in testing and real-world environments."

The Propell Teacher Workshops offer hands-on sessions led by ETS-trained specialists skilled in the area of English language learning. They utilize examples from TOEIC® Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing and TOEIC Bridge tests, and provide English-language teachers with instructional techniques and strategies to help prepare their students for success in the workplace.

The interactive Propell Workshops help teachers:

  • engage in dynamic classroom activities and discuss English language learning strategies
  • answer TOEIC practice questions and review performance descriptors
  • improve confidence and teaching effectiveness
  • explore opportunities to network with other instructors and provide feedback
  • earn a certificate upon completion of the workshop
