Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, David L. Hunt oversees all assessment programs, the ETS Preferred Vendor Distribution Network, and the IT and Customer Operations divisions. Hunt is also chairman of ETS-owned subsidiaries Edusoft and ETS Canada, board member of Prometric® and ETS Holdings, and a shareholder representative for the ETS Global BV.
Hunt joined ETS in 2003 as Executive Director of the Account Management Organization in the Operations division. In that capacity, he was responsible for the division's account management functions, including the development of strategic solutions aimed at saving money and improving quality for ETS and its clients. He also assumed responsibility for ETS's Publications division for a brief time before Accenture®, a global management and technology services firm, assumed the division's functions.
In 2004, Hunt was named Group Executive Director of the Process Management Organization in the ETS Brands division. His team was responsible for coordinating all ETS activities associated with Higher Education division brands programs, including the documentation, standardization and streamlining of various processes, policies and procedures.
Hunt was named Associate Vice President for Channel Expansion in the Higher Education division in 2005 and Senior Vice President in 2014. As Senior Vice President, he oversaw the TOEIC® and TOEFL® English Language Learning programs, the ETS Preferred Vendor Distribution Network, The WorkFORCE® Assessments program, the GRE® program, the ETS® Major Field Tests program, and the new Student Learning Outcomes assessments.
Before joining ETS, Hunt was Vice President of Customer Service with Global Crossing Telecommunications, where he established a global support organization responsible for all operational processes, business planning, reporting analysis and IT user requirements. He also served as Vice President of Acquisition Marketing with Prudential® Financial Services. At Prudential®, Hunt was responsible for the company's turnkey marketing infrastructure, supporting its 9,000-person salesforce.
Before that, he spent 18 years with the AT&T® Corporation, assuming a number of executive assignments in operations, customer service, channel management, business planning, marketing and product management.
Hunt is a graduate of Rutgers School of Law and a member of the New Jersey Bar Association.
ETS has assisted the NAEP program in introducing numerous psychometric and assessment design innovations over the years.
