As the pace of technological innovation

rapidly increases, our workforce skill sets can often have a shorter shelf life.

How can we set students up for success in this environment?

At ETS, we are partnering

with the Carnegie Foundation to explore the development of durable skills such as

flexibility, creative problem solving, and resilience, which can help students

to navigate change throughout their education and careers.

We are examining K-12 districts on the leading edge of competency-based

education to support the development and demonstration of these skills.

We explore their experiences, challenges,

and facilitating factors for success through interviews and focus groups.

We are excited to share them with you at AERA.
