Hi, my name is Devin Kinsey, and I'm a research associate at ETS.
I'll be co-presenting at AERA to showcase the work from an NSF funded project.
The project explores whether implementing a suite of online teaching simulations
into teaching methods courses can support preservice teachers in developing their
ability to facilitate argumentation focused discussions.
In our presentation,
we'll share findings from a sub-study that included 39 secondary preservice
teachers who engaged in two online simulated teaching experiences.
We investigated their understanding, beliefs, and skills in facilitating
discussions, and I hope that you're able to join our session.
