I have previously scored for ETS. Do I need to submit any paperwork?
If you previously scored for ETS and still have outstanding paperwork, our Onboarding Team will contact you for the collection of any required documentation. It is important that you complete and electronically sign requested documents as soon as possible.

What happens after I complete all of my onboarding paperwork, including Form I-9?
New Rater: When all of your paperwork has been received and processed by the Onboarding team, you will receive two final emails from noreply@ets.org with your username and password. You will be granted access to the "Profile & Payroll" Employee Self Service Portal. Within this Portal you can review and update your information, as necessary.

Existing Rater: If you recently scored or currently score for ETS, you were previously issued a username and password. Visit the ETS Raters and Scoring Professionals page using the following link: https://www.ets.org/raters. Then select “Profile & Payroll” to access the Employee Self Service Portal. You may use the “Forgot Username” and/or “Forgot Password” option to retrieve your credentials.

Once hired, your name will be added to the list of qualified Raters for your new program. The Scoring and Reporting Operations team will contact you regarding training and certification.

Why was my application “not approved?”
We receive applications from many qualified candidates. Approvals are based upon credentials and availability of openings. Please consider reviewing our  careers page for other open positions.

I am an existing Rater. How do I update my personal information?
The Employee Self Service Portal is an online tool, allowing employees the ability to update records on their own. Please access the Portal to review and update your personal information. Please be sure you are accessing the correct link, www.ets.org/raters, and that your cache has been cleared. The “Profile & Payroll” tab will lead you to an “ETS Sign In” page. After you sign in, click on the “ETS Rater Personal Information” tab, to update your personal information and “ETS Payroll and Compensation” tab for payroll updates.

If you experience difficulties with accessing the system, please call 1-855-U-ASK-ETS (1-855-827-5387). You may also request assistance by sending an email to RaterInfo@ets.org. One of our Technical Support team members can assist you with your username and password.

Is this a full- or part-time position?
Raters are considered variable employees. Scoring sessions are held Monday–Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Eastern Time throughout the year. Many programs offer 8-hour shifts during their scoring administrations.

Raters are scheduled on the basis of program need and according to submitted availability.

I have a question concerning payroll and general taxation?
Please call 1-855-U-ASK-ETS (1-855-827-5387) or contact AskETS@navisite.com.

Can I score outside of the United States?
No, scoring outside of the United States is not permitted. All Raters hired and scheduled to participate in online scoring session must reside and perform their work within the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico. Raters must have authorization to work for remuneration in the United States.

I stepped walked away from my computer and my employment application shut down. What should I do?

  • It is important that you do not create another profile by using a different email address. If you have previously submitted an application, or previously worked for ETS, you should use the email address on file to access your original account. You may contact ETSRater@ets.org for application assistance.
  • Resume your application. Log in using your username and password.
  • For additional help, click on the LiveChat® option located at the bottom of the page, on the right side of the application page.
  • If you do not remember your log in information, click on the "Forgot Password" or "Forgot Username/Email" links.

I am having technical difficulties in submitting my application. What should I do?

  • It is important that you do not create another profile.

  • Click on the “Return to an unsubmitted job application” on the right side.

  • Log in as a returning applicant.

  • Complete the username and password boxes.

  • If you do not remember your information, Technical Support can assist you. There is a link to Technical Support at the top right side of the screen.

I received a request to submit personal documents via LawLogix™. Is it secure?
LawLogix, an Equifax® company, is our third-party vendor used to support completion of the Form I-9 document via an e-signature. LawLogix has comprehensive and fully audited policies to ensure that your documents remain secure and confidential. In addition, LawLogix ensures that the signer's identity can be authenticated. ETS makes every effort to protect the privacy and security of employee data.

I have completed my Onboarding Documents and Employment Eligibility Form (Form I-9). Can you please confirm receipt?
After you have electronically signed all of your onboarding paperwork, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that you have completed the hiring process.

If you feel this communication may go to your spam folder, please search for an email from noreply@Pereless.com.

Why isn't my Form I-9 complete?
It could be that your Remote Agent or notary has not completed Section 2.

Please consider the following steps before completion:

  • After completing Section 1, you should have received an email including Section 2 instructions. Click on the link and add your Remote Agent's contact information. Email ETSRater@ets.org if you did not receive this email.
  • Once the above step is completed, your Remote Agent will receive an email with an access code to complete Section 2 of your Form I-9. Please be ready to meet with your Remote Agent, present your original document(s) and complete Section 2.

Who is my Remote Agent?

  • Your Remote Agent can be any contact who is 18 years of age or older and can attest to the fact that the identification documents being presented to ETS are true and authentic. Your Remote Agent must have a valid email address.
  • ETS, as the remote employer, cannot be in your presence and examine your documents. Therefore, we ask that someone does so on our behalf. We grant you the ability to select this person because we do not have an ETS employee accessible to you.
  • When the Remote Agent completes Section 2, their business address on the form will be listed as an ETS address because the Remote Agent has agreed to complete this process on our behalf.

Why hasn't my Remote Agent received the email to complete Section 2?

  • Please confirm that the email address you entered for your Remote Agent is correct.
  • Some email servers mark the email as spam due to the content of the communication. Please have your Remote Agent check their spam or junk mail folder for the following email address: DoNotReply@lawlogix.com. If your Remote Agent is unable to locate the email in their inbox or spam folders, please email ETSRater@ets.org.

What is certification?
The certification or qualifying test is an online assessment that measures the extent of a Rater’s understanding of the scoring process, the scoring criteria and rubric, and the accurate application of scores. Raters are given online access to training materials and practice tests in preparation for certification testing. This certification test is administered in the Online Network for Evaluation (ONE) system.

Will I be required to take a certification test?
Certification is required to score most assessments. Raters will receive training and be required to successfully complete an ETS certification exam. Raters who successfully pass the ETS certification exam will be eligible to score. Certification can take several hours and will be offered to new applicants until the Rater scoring pool is at capacity.

How long is certification?
The length of training and certification is dependent upon the program. Some certification tests may take 8 hours. However, you can log off and take a break at any time during your scheduled certification shift and return.

Most certification tests offer two attempts at receiving a passing score. Both attempts strongly encourage taking training prior to attempting the certification.

If you require a second attempt at certification testing, you will be allowed additional time for retraining before taking the certification test again.

When will I take certification?
Upon hire, the Scoring and Reporting Operations team will contact you regarding scheduling your training and certification.
