ETS offers paid time off for vacations, holidays and personal business.
Vacation
The number of vacation days new employees receive varies based on their job. Generally, full-time employees receive three weeks of vacation annually up to 10 years of service. Employees earn an additional week of paid vacation after 10 years of service and again after 25 years, up to a maximum of five weeks after 25 years of service.
Holidays
ETS observes 10 holidays each year: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and one more day that ETS will schedule near Christmas Day, depending upon how the days fall in the calendar each year.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
ETS employees accrue paid time off (PTO) at a rate of one hour to every 30 hours worked (or less if mandated by state or local jurisdiction). PTO may be used for personal business that cannot be accomplished outside of working hours and to attend to the illness of the employee, family member or a designated person, or as required by applicable state law.
Funeral Leave and Jury Duty
ETS offers an additional three days of paid time off for employees who experience the death of an immediate family member and paid leave for jury duty.
Community Service Hours
All employees have the opportunity to participate actively in ETS's social mission. Employees can take up to eight hours of paid time per year to pursue ETS-sponsored or personal-interest volunteer opportunities. ETS participates in dozens of community service projects throughout the year.
Leaves of Absence
ETS offers several types of leaves of absence to employees with specific needs. These include Bereavement, Family, Military, Medical and Personal Leave.
