ETS offers a number of services, resources and support systems to help employees achieve a sense of work-life balance.
Hours and Scheduling
ETS recognizes the importance of employees balancing work requirements and home needs. To that end, employees with specific, short-term issues that require accommodation may be eligible for flexibility in scheduling and work hours to help resolve the issues.
This package includes transportation for the employee and dependents, moving possessions and many incidental expenses associated with moving.
ETS provides very generous tuition assistance for eligible employees. The full amount of tuition and course-related fees (e.g., laboratory fees) is reimbursed for undergraduate, MBA and other work-related courses sponsored by accredited educational or professional training institutions.
Health and Wellness Program
Prevention is key to maintaining healthy employees and to helping protect employees and their families from the high costs of medical care. ETS's LiveWell program promotes healthful living through fitness programs, discounted fitness club rates, weight and stress management programs, smoking cessation assistance, health screenings and nutritional counseling. The Henry Chauncey Conference Center on-site also has a fitness facility. Our LifeWorks® program helps employees and their dependents with issues such as life changes, personal relationships, balancing work and home demands, caring for dependents, finding quality childcare, dealing with stress, time management, financial planning, substance abuse, elder care assistance and more.
Student Debt and Loan Refinance Program
ETS will provide eligible employees working 30 or more hours per week a company-funded payment toward the employee's qualified higher education loan. The maximum payments are up to $1,000 per year or $5,000 per lifetime during employment. In addition to the employer-funded payment, ETS will also offer a program to refinance student loans.
Emergency Back-up Care Program for Children and Adults
Administered by Bright Horizons®, this program will help employees get to work when they have caregiver challenges. Employees will have access to up to five days of back-up care for children and adults, for either care in a center or in their home, and costs will depend on where the care is provided and the number of children and adults that require the care.
ETS hosts and participates in dozens of community service projects throughout the year. Through the ETS Cares Campaign, employees can support local, national or international organizations of their choosing. Employees can take up to eight hours of paid time per year to pursue ETS-sponsored or personal-interest volunteer opportunities. See Who We Are for more information about ETS's social mission.
