If you think there’s an error in a test question that affects your response, tell the test supervisor as soon as you finish the test, and immediately write to:

State the following in your letter:

  • test center name and address
  • test date and name of the test
  • number and content of the question
  • section in which the question appeared (if it was in the General Test)

Allow 10 business days for a response.

If you have a complaint about a test center, email ETS within 7 days of your test date and provide the following:

  • detailed description of the complaint
  • test center name and address
  • test date

Allow 2–3 weeks for a response. If you communicate your complaint only to the test center staff, you won’t receive a response from ETS.
