Yanming Jiang was a psychometrician in the Research & Development division at ETS until 2023. She had worked on a number of K–12 programs including California Standards Test in Spanish, California High School Exit Exam, California Smarter Balanced Assessments, California Science Test, and the Tennessee grades 3-8 and end-of-course assessments. Later, she worked on the TOEFL iBT® program. Her research interests included multistage testing and vertical scaling.
She received a Ph.D. in statistics from the University of Iowa and an M.A. in mathematics from Capital Normal University (Beijing, China).
