Test Question Inquiries

If you think there is an error in a test question that affects your response, tell the test supervisor as soon as you finish the test, and immediately write to:

State the following in your letter:

  • name and address of the test center
  • test date and name of the test
  • number and content of the question
  • section in which the question appeared (if it was in the General Test)

Allow 10 business days for a response.

Test Center Complaints

If you have a complaint about a test center, please email ETS within seven days of your test date. In your email, provide the following:

  • a detailed description of the complaint
  • the name and address of the test center
  • the test date

Allow two to three weeks for a response. If you communicate your complaint only to the test center staff, you will not receive a response from ETS.
